Walk off the Earth, Scott Avett: UkeTube

It’s not often I repost the same song from the same band. But it’s happened twice this week with Shiny and the Spoon reprising their cover of A-ha and Keston Cobblers’ Club. Also on the list is Scott Avett with a horrible ukulele, Walk off the Earth tossing around a Flea banjolele (head to 2:54 if you only watch their videos for headstock guy) and an instrumental from War Jacket.

Non-video Update: Wilfried Welti – who you might know from his excellent videos and his tab ebooks Solo Ukulele für Einsteiger and Weihnachten mit der Ukulele – has released three new ebooks: Alte Musik mit der Ukulele, Keltische Musik mit der Ukulele and Klassische Musik mit der Ukulele.

Drop It Like Its Hot! I like the roses and it seems I can smell them.

Great cover from Aruhan, but I have to admit, I was wildly distracted throughout…. ahem.

Keston Cobblers club are charming as ever and David Silva was nice too although it was unfortunate that I felt like I was watching from a distant corner of the room!

    Herman: Glad you liked.

Foinnse: I thought that about David Silva too. It would be good to have a better recording.

Love! Bottom of the Heap is great with the bass and uke together! Uke also goes great with cello. Check out the Double Clicks if you haven’t yet. Amazing and nerdy girls rockin’ it! I saw them open for Amanda Palmer in Portland last month!

Walk Off The Earth always manage to impress me with their music videos with playing multiple instruments at a time, hahaha.
