– Fanned-fret Kukamae i.e. the bridge, nut and all the frets are diagonal. I’m a bit suspicious of the supposed advantages of this but it certainly looks cool.

I’m pretty sure the uke in that last link is from Cat Rock, a shop in western Tokyo that also makes its own “Gill” series. It has the same style and fretboard marks.
