Doctor Who? is one of those things everyone loves and I don’t see the appeal of at all. The theme tune, on the other hand, I do love. And this week’s UkeTube is bookended by two takes on it – one from Ukelilli and one from WS64.

Boyo. If Ukulollo doesn’t get some kind of prize in the Bushman thingumbob there’s something seriously amiss. Good playing and the vid was one of the best “matte vids” I’ve seen on YouToob.

Doctor Who is the best. David Tennant is pretty much my favourite person. Both Doctor-themed videos were pretty great. First one was damn catchy. Well spotted.
HH: Yes, Lorenzo works as a cameraman. It was him that filmed this year’s Italian Festival. It is an incredible documentary. He is very talented and extremely thorough.
You would be god squared if you were to knock up a Doctor Who theme tab. WS64’s rendition is truly badass. I have wanted to work up an arrangement myself for awhile. I realise now it would never be as good as WS64’s…

“strictly no Christmas songs”- One Christmas a recording of Ravel’s “Bolero” was the best gift I received. So to me, that’s been a Christmas song ever since.
