This week’s iwanit, iwanit, iwanit is this 8 string tenor uke> from Oceana. The Oceana concert looks pretty fine as well.
Unis are a new name to me but this ukulelelooks a whole lot like a Kumalae.

…Me too…I do need 8 strings in my life…Mmmm that oceana is very very special…I’ve been toying wth the idea of a Lanikai ULU8 8 String Tenor…as it’s just about in the upper end of affordability for me…Any one got any experience of them?…
John and Nick: They are very tempting. Don’t have any experience with the ULU8 though.
I’ve got a Lanakai 8-string tenor. It is very sweet. I bit more trouble to tune it though. But a nice instrument.
I’ve been thinking about 8 stringers ever since seeing nomipyon playing one on the Merry Christmas Mr Lawrence post, they do sound fantastic.
