David Beckingham – Mississippi Blues (Tab)

Mississippi Blues (Tab)

Since his arrangement of In the Mood, I’ve been looking forward to seeing what David would come up with next and I wasn’t disappointed. His version of Mississippi Blues has plenty of bluesy licks. And he was kind enough to let me share the arrangement here.

Gosh, I’m easily confused: for a minute there I thought it said David Beckham – Mississipi Blues and wondered if old Goldenballs had taken up the uke…

Thanks as always for the great tab, plenty of new tricks for me to learn there.

It’s great to have the tab as sometimes you see great stuff like this but can’t find how to play it. This is a great little tune so thanks for sharing it DB! Mucho respect.

Jim and krabbers: I made a great effort to avoid making that reference.

    Bob: Glad you liked it.

Thanks for the share David, Woodshed. This one is a workout. Been at the uke for about 8 weeks. There is a major shortage of Delta blues tabs or ebooks and finding this is a blessing. If David ever publishes an ebook, I’ll pay whatever. The man is awesome. Great site you have here Woodshed. Best uke site I’ve seen! I also play guitar and banjo.

Rob: I did do my own blues ebook if that’s any good to you.

  23. Rob August 2nd, 2013 3:41 pm

I almost picked it up the other day. So many have the same early learning stuff that I practice every day but your reputation and the quality of your site has peaked my interest. I’ll pick it up today!

  24. Woodshed August 3rd, 2013 8:20 am

Rob: I hope you like it.
