Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer (Chords)

Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer (Chords)

Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer is the simplest Christmas song and ideal for kids.

I’ve tried to simplify the chords even further for this arrangement. For a fair chunk of the song, a C6 chord is being played (all strings open). I’ve written C6 every time but using a full C chord at the end would give it a proper ending. Other than that, there are only two other chords: F and G7.

If you’re after a more challenging version of the song I’ll be doing a solo, fingerpicking version tomorrow.

Until then, you can pass the time by heading over the fold and, since it’s the season to waste away the hours in the office playing games, shoot as many reindeer as you can.

Ah…you’ve simplified it! I was starting to worry about you this morning. That’s a good idea. I think I’ll print it out and let the nieces and nephews learn a little uke this Christmas. Thanks Al!

A fun simple song and your White Christmas tab is very good. Look forward to the next edition of Rudolph. I can hardly wait for NEXT Christmas, maybe by then I will have some of these songs properly learned.

Oh, I was just about to tab this in fingerpicking. I guess I won’t then!

Nelson: That is just too good. You’re a natural reindeer assassin.

Jill: I think you’re the only person other than my mum who’s ever worried about me. Good look with the lil uns.

Art: Thanks. Hope you like the Rudolph.

weelie: You should definitely still have a go at working up your own version.
