I got to see Aaron with the Boulder Acoustic Society here in Seattle, that boy plays him some swingy uke! Yowza. The combo is a treat, go see them!

Also, I love that this vid shows the fridge in the background. For no good reason, that cracks me up.

Thanks for the Sunday morning concert. The Helsinki uke festival was a good find. I’ve been to Sweden and Tornio, Finland at the Swedish border. I would like to find aan old simple Swedish traditional song to play for my mother. She now lives in Lincoln, CA but is doing a lot of geneology work on her family from Sweden. Sue, the wife of Santa Cruz, CA Ukulele Maker Tony Graziano, was recently in Sweden checking out the uke scene while visiting relatives. Got any Swedish info in your proverbial woodshed?

I have to admit, I don’t know much about the Swedish ukulele scene. But I’ll definitely find a simple Swedish folk tune to tab out.

There’s quite a uke-scene in Sweden and some of the guys from there came to visit our Uke-fest in Helsinki. Jeff, if you’re still looking for a good swedish song, ask the guys at the swedish uke forum: http://ukulelekommissionen.se/forum/index.php

    Thanks for that, Juha.

Got something to say?
