It’s a bit disheartening that the most innovative, eclectic and enjoyable music around at them moment is made by a pop band put together on a reality TV show. Even the Arctic Monkeys had to face the fact that this song was better than anything they could come up with and cover it.

I love the tune, and the Arctic Monkeys brought a funnier side to the song in the way that they’re trying not to laugh most of the way through it.

Arctic monkeys covered it on BBC radio 1′s live lounge, they didn’t actively go out and cover it :)
