I’m very taken with this song and Gogol Bordello in general. The riff was originally an Italian folk tune called Tromba degli Zingari.

I play this riff with the A string ringing throughout to give it a bit more weight on the uke. I use my thumb to play the melody notes and my ring finger to play the continuous A note.

    I liked the song here so I decided to look this band up and…WOW!
    These guys are amazing!
    Not only does this site provide wonderful exercises and songs for the uke , but it’s showing me new and exciting bands!

    enjoy the gig??? it was the best night of my life! we went to the private afterparty too. :o) was amazing… made me even more determined to learn this properly. cheers again for the tab!
