Ledward Kaapana, Toy Horses, Tinyfolk: UkeTube
October 4, 2008 · Print This Article
This week’s selection of uke videos includes Tinyfolk, Led Kaapana and Toy Horses.
In other news, I got a mention in the Guardian. I don’t know what discussion forum he’s talking about and he seems to have missed the link to the chord chart in BIG RED LETTERS. It’s not like them to get something wrong - “HMS Hampshire did not sink after hitting a land mine. They are rarely found at sea.”
Ledward Kaapana - E Ku`u Morning Dew
Jake Wildwood - The Day The Dollar Dies
Matthew Brookshire - I Can See Russia from Alaska (When I Look in Your Eyes)
heinbanjo12 - Ukin’ the Scale Rag
Evilhamster95 - Hotel California
The Baron - Rock N Roll Ain’t Noise Pollution
If this is your first visit here, you can find the chords/tab in those posts by clicking on the song title in red.

Some goodies today. Every time I hear heinbanjo12 I like him more.Toy Horses got it goin’ on. And, continuing the 1 guitar 1 uke theme, I liked Pollyanna too.
Toy Horses and PollyAnna were the pick of the bunch for me this week, I do like the uke and guitar thing.
John and Hobbit: The uke and guitar thing definitely works well - so long as the uke is doing the fancy stuff.
I’ve been checking out the rest of the Lavomatic sessions and there’s some really great stuff there. Eli Paperboy Reed who sounds even better without a full band and Stef Camil Carlens who was involved in making the three greatest albums ever to come out of Belgium.
hi
I enjoy these selections
I’m a sucker for bluesy Rock n’Roll, and the baron is too (out of my league), and Russia from Alaska will stay with me .
several others too - e.g heinbanjo

I adore Tinyfolk so much! All of these are really fabulous (as usual). And congratulations about being mentioned in The Guardian!
Matt Stephenson in the Guardian?
He lives in Hull
All the pieces are starting to fit together….
rogb: Definitely a few crackers this week.
Anne: Thanks!
zym: That’s two of you - officially enough for a club. Four if you hold it on Wednesdays or alternate weekends.
Hey, that’s me! Neat!
Congrats on the mention. You’re getting to be quite famous, whatever that means in the ukulele world.
Thanks, Jodi. I’m internationally famous to about 12 people.
