Man! Lots of goodies. I think my fave this week has got to be Old Blind Mole Orkestra. Followed very closely by Victoria Vox and melaniejane rockin’ the Psycho Killer.

Besides being killer arrangements and performances, I love the fact that there’s no big deal made out of the ukulele. They both just play it like it’s an instrument, a voice in the overall sound, not like a novelty. Real matter of fact.

Hmmm… not sure if I’m making much sense there, but I enjoyed all the vids so thanks for sharing!

Psycho killer is one of my favourite songs so when I saw V V was doing it I was a bit nervous. But it was fa fa fa far fa fa fa fa fa far better than I thought it would be.

That was a superb selection, I’d even go so far as to call it the best uketube ever!

Loved Old Blind Mole Orchestra, they have such a full sound and UkeBasse too – that melodica sounds great! Very Gallic. The Paper Planes cover was very well done too, not to mention the rest of the vids which were all very enjoyable as well!

Hobbit: You’re making total sense to me.

Isaac: I never really got the appeal of Psycho Killer, but I do quite like the Vox version.

Jim: Sounds like a very good idea.

John: Definitely a good one. Not my favourite ever, though.

OH MY GOD, my paper planes video is on here… I’m honored.

    Thank you J-Hob!

So woodshed, which is your favourite uketube ever thus far? Do tell!

Liz: It’s a pleasure to feature you. Keep the good stuff coming.

John: I was worried you might ask that. Of the top of my head, I’d go for this one. It has a lot of my favourite people in and I was only familiar with one of the songs before that week.

Holy crap! How did I miss your favorite UkeTube? Demon Alcohol is one of my fave Kinks tunes.

I’m thinking Snake Suspenderz has to cover this one.

Hobbit: I agree. We need an SS cover of Demon Alcohol.
