Jason ‘Somewhere Over the Rainbow on American Idol‘ Castro has just released a ukulele version of White Christmas and you can get it free on Amazon (or on ReverbNation if you’re outside the US). I don’t want to be mean at Christmas time, but I’m guessing that isn’t him ukeing on the track because it being played well.
But he is playing it on this very simple version. I thought that, since I’ve already done a tricky tab for White Christmas, I’d write up these very simple chords
I have no doubt it is Jason playing the uke on this track. The pianist for American Idol told Jason’s fans in an interview that Jason played the uke in his Studio Version of Somewhere Over The Rainbow, after teaching himself to play the instrument that very week. Jason is a talented musician and takes the time and effort to do something as well as possible.
He might not have your shops!…but lets be nice to each other!…It is almost Christmas!…I don’t think there is anything wrong with his simplified version…
