The LA Times discusses the ukulele revival. But I’m not sure how Hester and Kitty would react to the UOGB being described as, “eight men in tuxedos.”

A video of an entire James Hill performance.

You can now get UkeFarm’s chord sheets on your iPhone.

J-Hob covers ukulele acts at this year’s Edinburgh Fringe.

Argyle Smile’s Every Song on Uker Tabs.

I think this is the best repurposing of a ukulele I’ve seen. And she has some magnificent trophy fruit (which sounds like innuendo but isn’t).

Daily Growl has a couple of MP3s from The Second Hand Marching Band.

Okay, they’re back up. How did he go an entire article, mainly about how the internet has fueled the ukulele revival, and not mention UkeHunt at all? I see the UU got mentioned, but no UkeHunt.

Boughter: Thanks for putting those up. Good choice of song.

I’m not that fussed. It was a much bigger deal to me to be mentioned in the NME.

cbf: Getting mentioned in that sort of thing is mostly luck of the draw. I’ve got those sort of mentions before so it’s just someone else’s turn.

“Shimabukuro now autographs young people’s ukuleles at his shows”- from the Times article.

That would include me, I’m young!

    I knew it!

Lonna: The fact that your comment is properly spelt and punctuated suggests otherwise ;)

Got something to say?
