The Seattle Castaways should cover “Liar, Liar,”
Al. It’s only right. They’d kill and I can’t recall seeing anyone else covering it.

DermitderUkulele’s Au Clair de la Lune (chant
et ukuleles divers) featuring the bravura playing of Herman Vandecauter is another one from December people might consider for the poll. I know did. Moons and swans…

One of my fave raves from the new year is a performance at a Cambridge pub that features the great crowd singalong line “They just dropped my ukulele!” Watch and sing along –

The Burning Glass perform Ukulele live at The

Not too long ago watched a video of the Academy of Ancient Music playing Handel whilst
sailing down the Thames for the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee. Not half bad but a uke would have kicked things up a notch.

If I could play like Sarah that’s what I’d be doing right now instead of this.

Be remiss if I didn’t urge the locals on, so:
    GO NINERS!

Thanks for including The Castaways on the Uke Tube, it’s an honor. We’re making plans for video number two and for recording a full album — lotsa work ahead, but it’s all for the love of our four stringed friend.

I really like the chord progression on Blue Dean’s Crazy Blues…

And besides, yours is truly the best site, the only one I keep coming back to. I discovered more than one of my favourite musicians through you, first of all the Leftover Cuties…just saying :)

Jo: Glad I could introduce them to you!
