David Beckingham – Spanish Flea (Tab)

David Beckingham – Spanish Flea

It’s a great pleasure to have David Beckingham back on the blog. His arrangements are always a treat. And I’m obviously not the only one to think so. His version of In the Mood
the trailer for the documentary As Time Goes by in Shanghai.

David was kind enough to let me post his tab of his arrangement of Spanish Flea.

I was being sarcastic. :P I’ve shared this on Facebook, it’s a great tune. :)

Kyle: I was hoping that was the case! Thanks for the share.

Always nice to see more from David beckingham, although I can’t hear this song without hearing homer singing it as he waits outside the spinal tap gig in the Simpsons. Another great arrangement that ought to keep me busy for a while. Thanks

cbf: It reminded me of the time Homer was waiting for his car to be fixed!

Been working along on this one for a few weeks now, finally getting it to come together. I love when a piece makes the journey from impossible to extremely difficult to something I stumble through with just a moderate degree of incompetence — thanks for helping with another of those moments.

Hi Drywell, It’s great to know someone is looking at these arrangements, and your description is exactly what I experience as I work them out. Thanks for the priceless feedback. Dave.

Dave, great to hear from you, I’ve gotten some good mileage from several of your arrangements. Quite fond of ‘If I Had You’. Still can’t get through ‘Whistling Milkman’ without swearing. Thanks again for sharing.

Got something to say?
