   Jim Boggia. Good shit. good video, too. I especially like the part where the waitress walks across the screen with two beer glasses. The right atmosphere for that song.

    I concur, Jim Boggia rocked hell out of the Boss’s tune. Beautiful arrangement, great presentation.

    Patsy and krabbers continue down their respective paths of awesomeness. If I could sing half as well as Patsy or write songs that were half as good as krabbers I’d simply expire from the thrill.

    Looking forward to the tabs for The Stripper. I’ve worked with several burlesque troupes and know a few burlesque queens that would probably love to strip to a live ukulele version. I’m thinking I’m just the guy to play it. :-)

    Liked the Hundred Little Reasons tune quite a bit. Genteely spooky. Is that a genre?

    I was introduced to She Makes War by Steve Lawson (aka @solobasssteve on Twitter). I liked her so much I sent her 15 quid for her latest release.

    Lastly… one of this batch got me to thinking. What happens when the vid is better than the song? Does it matter? I write songs so I’m biased. And I do want to make better videos, so I guess I’m conflicted as well.

    But by what standards are we to judge a “music video” if the video is better than the music? I mean, it’s still art, but it disappoints me on some level.

    I’m much more likely to “like” a video that was done through a cheap web-cam but features a great tune than I am to like a hugely–even if well–produced video where the song is somewhat lame.

    Hobbit: Ah, it might be you I heard about She Makes War from. By the time I came across her uke song I’d completely forgotten how I got there. I’ll be honest, I would never have pegged you as an emo fan.

    On the Joel video, yes, it’s not the strongest song. But as a whole package I really enjoyed it.

    hmmm… I would never have thought of her as emo. old and out of touch, that’s me. but I dug her tunes and the way she’s going about her career, so she got my £15.

    Yeah, a few people at the folk clubs I frequent do a lot of Rusby, she’s fantastic.

    Will you look into tabbing out Heidi’s song in the near future?

    Long time listener, first time caller… Just bumping this old post up in the hope of a tab for the intro to Thunder Road!

    I’m pretty new to the uke and Jim Boggia playing the Boss just blew my mind.
