Via Tanya, Sophie Madeleine: Saturday UkeTube

After a bit of a male dominated week last week, the girls are back in force

I was originally going to post Via Tanya’s video for Wonder Stranger but the version she did for Shoot the Player.     …Top selection Al…loving all the laydees…especially Sophie Madeleine, wonderful…But Mood indigo, wow, that guy really gave that National Guitar a work out…was that a national uke…the bit that made me grin the most though, was that tiny dude playing that Big Assed Bass…

    I’m glad to see Tally Deushane and Kaylee the Ukulele here- I’ve been following them since their debut a few weeks ago, and it’s impressive how quickly they’ve been coming along.

    Southern California vintage music/dance scene, & one of my own musical heroes. A regular at Maxwell DeMille’s Cicada Club in Los Angeles,
    a good place to watch John’s awesomeness on the shiny National guitar & banjo is at clubcicada.com’s Broadcast Archive. Start with the Oct. 4, 09 & May 3, 09, Janet Klein & Her Parlor Boys shows, & the April, 12, 09, Rhythm Club All Stars show (as a member of the RCAS, he plays on their CD), but there are many other videos onsite that he plays on.
