A popular one for covers, this one with versions by Marilyn Manson, Jonny Cash and Richard Cheese being the most famous.
When you do the pull-offs in this one, try to give the string a bit of a bend before letting go of it.

Excellent! my favourite ‘hunt feature is back! Top quality as usual!
Awesome, You’re really getting back into the Riffs for the Ukulele again. Keep up the excellent work!
Connor and West: Thanks, guys. There are some really good riffs still to come.
Why does Richard Cheese link to Marilyn Manson?
Andrew: Because I refuse to proof read.
i LOVE this song!
Thanks guys, your awsome!
Nice one! You so could have been my boyfriend in 1989.
if only i had been born by then !
Ouch. That comment was actually meant for Woodshed because if you weren’t born yet, then I am Mrs. Robinson.
Kenneth: You’re welcome. And my apologies for sexual harassment. There’s no controlling her.
Ukulelezo: It’s a good job you clarified that. It’s clearly stated in the comment rules that cute girls are only allowed to flirt with me.
Ahh i see im new to this, only got my uke last week.
And its all really my fault anyway with my assumptions( or however its spelt)
great tab! this is great fun to play:P kudos Woodshed
Kenneth: Don’t worry about it. Enjoy your ukeing.
Tommacg: Thanks!
Thanks a lot for this!
I bought a Ukulele yesterday and I’m loving it.
I was wondering, how do you continue this song during the verses? Do you just play the same riff (unlike in the real version) or are there some chords available?
Cheers and thanks again!
really having a lot of fun, having decided i couldn’t finger pick for love nor money i’m learning many of these tabs good work woodshed
Glad you’re getting to grips with them, cbf.
I’m one of those guys who’s been given a baby blue Makala and is finally finding out how much fun it can be, because to this site – thanks for your help!
Just one question, as I love Depeche Mode so very much and desire to play this greatly: what does the little dot with the sorta forward slash next to it mean? I’ve trawled the site and downloaded the 101, but it eludes me…
George: That’s a rest (i.e. you don’t play anything at all).
