Ah, failure! All I could get was some of the celebrities. And I thought I was doing so well on my chord memorization!

I must be a bit of a uke geek cuz I only got 2 wrong. Of course, The Band was one. I’m a big fan (I think you can call yourself a “big” fan if you know the names of all the members of a group) but in my head I only hear Dylan singing it, so I thought he recorded it first. The other was the Mainland. Seen them but didn’t recall their look. I might have gotten the Lanikai wrong, even though it was my first uke but I could see the name on the headstock. The Dakota and Tom celebs I only got my process of elimination. Fun quiz.

Gray: I thought the celeb round was difficult. I must be losing touch!

Bunnyf: Congratulations! You might be! You did better than I would have done.

I mistook Dakota Johnson for Virginia Madsen :-(

  5. Mark December 18th, 2016 1:30 pm

16, way better than usual thanks to not having to name that chord by ear. But most of the celebrities left me baffled.

A real treat to do this again Al. THANK YOU once more for taking the time. Loved it! Oh and even scores this year across board including ‘celebs’ none more surprised than me!

Paul: At least you didn’t mistake her for Georgia O’Keeffe!

    Mark: Well done!

Jules: Thanks very much! Glad you enjoyed it.

Another fun quiz. I think I did worse than last year, but the categories seemed better than I remember. Did not do well on lyrics, but I love guessing the brands. I was so-so on celebrities, although the orange/black one was hilarious. I recognized the covers, but didn’t know half of the original artists. Still, can’t learn anything new with a perfect score, right?
