   LOVE this list. I’m sending everyone who asks me how to learn the ukulele here. I learned making my way through lists like these. (Although “Mr. Moon” was the first song I tried to learn.)

   I don’t think people realize that most songs are the same chords they always heard. Hell, even Bach used ii, V, I progressions.

    I can’t thank you enough for some of the songs on this list. ‘Five Years Time’ was the first song that I attempted to play and it actually sounded something like the record (and even the wife agreed). If it wasn’t for that I probably wouldn’t have kept trying to play.

    Six months on, I’m still strumming and enjoying it more than ever.

    Here is a All-American Rejects song that would fit under the C-G-F-Am category. Simple strumming and sounds great on the uke. I think it sounds fine without the Cm7, but for those so inclined, its just a barre on the third fret.

    I’ve had this song going through my head for days now–it seems really made for the ukulele. Have you ever seen the chords for “Deep Purple”? (1963 version–I’ve never heard the original version from the 30’s…)
